Title: LinkStation Live LS-CHL Web Access errors out explorer
Post by: cgarcia161 on February 06, 2009, 04:48:44 AM
I have looked at a ton of postings and have not found one dealing with this specific problem.   I just purchased the LinkStation Live and I am loving it for Lan type jobs.  The speed is not a problem so far.  The problem started when I tried to use web access.  I followed the manual and a ton of the postings on this site but every time I try to access the station over the net, internet explorer starts having script errors and eventually locks up.  All I have on the link station is my music folder of around 5gb and it will start to show the folders but thats it.  I am using a buffalo WHR-HP-G54 router.  Please help.

I have been using web access on the LS-CHL for about a week now.  It is a little slow, and I have not figured out how to access the attached USB driver, but otherwise it is working.

So I did the firmware update and init the system and set it all back up agian and still the script is running to slow and locks up explorer.  I decided to try using FTP and it flys.  The bad thing about using ftp is that the quick time player wont work.  Why is it so much slower using buffalonas web sight.  Anyone have any ideas?
