Title: Linkstation LS-XL conects to domain but can't sync with AD in Server 2003

I have a linkstation LS-XL.  When I try to sync with AD, I get an error message from the linkstation saying connectcion has failed, and no users or group are pulled to the linkstation.  On the server, in the event log, under security, I am seeing a successful logon to the server, using an account which has full Administrator priveledges. 

 

I have turned of SMB, added the linkstation as a computer, checked the time on both the server and the linkstation match.

 

Why can it not sync with AD?  Any ideas anybody?
