Title: Buffalo LS-WVL870 not seen by Linn DS
Post by: ppnuts on January 13, 2013, 06:22:55 AM

I have recently set up an LS-WVL870 running Raid 0 to work as an NAS (connected to a Netgear router) for my Linn Akurate Digital Streamer. Previously I used a Synology 109 which was a single drive NAS and it worked perfectly fine immediately when hooked up to the system. To my disappointment, the LS-WVL870 cannot be detected by my iPAD (with the Linn Kinsky app) nor the Akurate DS. But oddly, it can be accessed via Windows 7 on my PC. Nevertheless when I tried to open devices on Windows 7 Control Panel, it says that the LS-WVL870 cannot be accessed. Is there something I ought to do before the Buffalo NAS can be remotely accessed by other network attached devices?  Any advice would be much appreciated.
