Title: How to clear messages / notices?

Our Buffalo TeraStation (TS5200D) couldn't make a backup last week, because we accidentally removed the back-up drive without dismounting it.

 

Now, we keep getting messages that the back-up was unsuccessful.

 

We are well aware that the back-up failed, but how do we get rid of the messages?

edit the backup job again.
