Title: Password reset - TS-1.0TGL/R5

Terastation TS-1.0TGL/R5 

Firmware version: 1.04

Connectivity: Using a small switch for troubleshooting.

 

Password reset attempts:

1) Pressing and holding the Red reset button until it beeps 5 times does not reset the IP address or password.

2) Holding Red reset button while turning unit on (EM Mode) also does not reset password.

 

This is a hand-me-down unit that I'd like to use on my home network.  I'm not interested in the data on the unit, I just want to clear everything out and start over.  Is there a way for me to reset the password so that I can achieve my goal?

 

Please advise.

the reset button should reset the password, are you sure youre entering it correctly? admin/password (both lower case!)
