Title: can't connect web access, tried port forward and static ip
Post by: osterac on January 08, 2013, 03:44:56 PM
Hi
I just got a linkstation pro ls-v3.0tl and even after adding its up as static on my router, forwarding ports 9000 and 45205, and turning off DHCP on the NAS, i still can't connect over the internet from browser or wp7 app. I I am using firmware 1.64. The router I am using now is a wrt54g with ddwrt firmware but I plan to switch routers soon to one I have actually trued before with the linkstation but it didn't work either. It's a faster router so I'm switching back. It's a dlink dir-655.
So what should I try next?
Thanks

is web access working locally? If it is then the issue is the port fowarding on the router so contact the router manufacturer.
