Hi, I just bought an Linkstation Live LS-XL. When I first started using it, it wasn't working properly so I updated the firmware. When I restarted the drive after installing the firmware it booted up in EM mode (I only know this because that's what NASNavigator was saying, the drive didn't appear on my network in the finder).

I phoned tech support yesterday and they said I just needed to reinstall the firmware. Every time I do that I get the error "LS-XL-EM368 started in EM mode. The update may have failed. Restart the LS-XL-EM368, and confirm again." but doing that doesn't have any effect.

I have tried doing this on both Windows and Mac. I have tried disabling the Windows Firewall.

Is there anything else I can do? Thanks.
