Title: WebAccess Setup - unable to setup. MAC OS Mountain Lion
Post by: longxia on January 01, 2013, 05:11:22 AM

I am trying to set up the webaccess. When I try to enable it, and enter the name (during the setup), then I select save, it thinks for a bit then it shows the following message.:

UPnP Gateway not found and/or doesn't support port forwarding, use manual setup.

I have also tried the manual setup, but has the same results. I do not know what the manual settings are, or how to enter or access the area to do that.

I also read the WebAccess Setup instructions on the Buffalo Forum, but I cannot figure what is the problem.

Any help would be great. Thanks.

Go to the advanced setup -> disabled UPnP, select external port 9000 -> Apply -> Then forward this port on your router to the IP address of the Linkstation for external access.
