Title: New firmware option in 1.63 not working?
Post by: chrisatx on December 30, 2012, 11:55:51 PM

I logged in to the support website and it lists firmware 1.64 as most recent for LS Quad Pro.

Both my NASes have 1.63 installed currently.

When I go to the maintenance - update firmware section it lists that my firmware (1.63) is the latest and there is no new firmware.....

What's the story?

I just updated one of my NAS to 1.64 which seems to be the latest firmware indeed as it did install.

So there is a bug in the firmware that does not list in the Web Admin when an update is available.

I have 1.62, but because my LS-v3 "thinks" it's got the latest version, how do I update to the REAL latest version (today, 1.64)?

I didn't find an answer in Buffalo docs (except this, which isn't great for me, since I have NO Windows machines). I haven't found one in the forum yet, either.
