Title: DLNA issues with Blu-Ray players
Post by: Jamaro85 on December 29, 2012, 01:14:56 AM

I have a LS-XH1.0TL NAS drive that has worked with my LG BD570 blu ray player for a number of years now (via DLNA).  I recently bought a Sony BDP-S590 that would not detect the NAS.  I spoke to Buffalo customer support and was told that the Sony likely did not support my drive.  So I buy a newer LG, the BP620, and that doesn't recognize my NAS either.

I've updated the firmware on my NAS, reset the DLNA server, and have no idea what to do at this point.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

did you update to 1.64? Have you set your TVs to point to the folder in the LInkstation that has the videos? 1.64 should support your Sony.

1.64?   The latest I see in the official Buffalo download section is 1.60.  I can't point either blu ray player to the Linkstation, they're supposed to auto-detect it.

sorry, didn't notice you have the LS-XH. 1.60 is the latest for that product.
