Title: LS-XL - does not power up.
Post by: dougglos on December 27, 2012, 01:02:52 AM

I have been using a Buffalo external hard drive for about nine months (LS - X1 .5TL) and suddenly it neither is recognised by my system, nor powers up  fully,  i.e,  the blue light does not stop flashing. When I plug it in I get about twenty clicking noises, and then nothing else. I am not very computer experienced, but before I try to return the unit under warranty, I wondered if anyone had thoughts as to what I could do to correct this. Many thanks.

Clicking noises sound like the Hard Drive - call your local Buffalotech support team.
