Title: LS-500GL Can't Access Share Folder
Post by: phcaptjim on December 25, 2012, 12:04:21 PM

I'm having a strange problem with LS-500GL (Firmware 1.15).

Yesterday I decided to do a itunes backup from my LS-V3.0TL to  a newly created backup folder on my LS-500GL.  The process got hung up so I deleted the process on the LS-V3.0 and rebooted (that NAS is fine) and I deleted my new backup folder on the LS-500GL through the web admin and rebooted that machine.  Now I am unable to browse the share folder on the LS500GL.  I can view both devices in NAS Navigator, and I can see both share folders on the LS500GL (info and share) but I get the windows error when I try to open the share folder.  I can browse the info folder without any problem.  I get the same error when I try browsing those shared folders on my android phone.  This is really weird.

My new device is working fine and I believe all of my data remains on my old drive but I can't access this information.  I read where a force firmware update might help?  Is that really necessary?  Any help would be great.
