Title: Ministation cannot be detected.
Post by: weijun5 on December 16, 2012, 08:18:34 PM

Hi guys, i have been using my external hard disk for a few months and not long ago i accidentally dropped it on the floor. A few days after that my computer is unable to detect it anymore. Sometimes when i plug it in, the hard disk will have a continous beep, the blue light will blink for a few times and either turns off or remain blue entirely.  Device manager is able to detect it but unfortunately I cant see the icon on my computer.

Hope someone will resolve my issue as there are alot of important things inside. Thank you

To expand upon Davo's question, under Disk Management, even if you aren't able to see the drive listed as a volume in the upper portion of the screen, do you see a drive with the same relative capacity as your Buffalo listed in the stripped area for Disk 0 and Disk 1?
