Title: iPhone Automatic Upload Crash / Time Out
Post by: Dezlongsmith on December 16, 2012, 02:04:27 PM

Hello

I set up Automatic Upload today for my iPhone 5 and it fully backed up all my photos and videos to my NAS which is great.

I then did the same setup for my wife's iPhone 4S and iPad and the app crashed every time I tried to process the Automatic Upload.

About 10/170 files were saved to the drive for both devices before the app crashes. There is no error messaging or progress messaging to suggest what the issue might be?

Is there a file size limit? Could it be crashing because of a specific file?

It would be a great feature to be securely automatically backing up media to the NAS instead of having to pay for an iCloud account.

Welcome some more information around how the Automatic Upload works.

Derek
