Title: Is it possble to unremoved, removed drive in linkstation qual without reformatting it?

I have a HHD from a old link station with no RAID running. I plug it into a new link station pro, LS-QVL/E. I access the web admin and the status of the drive is removed. How can I use it again without the need to format it?

The only to read the data on the hard drive from your old Linkstation without formatting it would be to place the drive into an external USB enclosure which is then connected to one of the USB ports on your LS-QVL/E. In order to use this drive as part of any RAID array in your LS/QVL/E, the drive would need to be formatted.
