I've had my N150 HighPower ADSL2+ Router for a bit more than a year. I have not faced any problems with its time on our household..
The normal day for the router contains the usual stuff with power, security, wireless and dsl lights staying their regular colors for the whole day. The internet light does its job of showing when somebody is on the line.
But it's been acting up for a few days:
- Power light going from green to red constantly. It's never calming down. No pauses, blinks around 5 times in a second.
- The security light (orange) is also blinking at times. Like every 5 seconds - at times more often.
- Wireless is all good as there's no one trying to use our wifi. I haven't spotted any unsual activity from the logs either.
- The internet light is going from green to red to just blinking. No real pattern but it's a mess.
- The DSL light also blinks only when I turn on the pc.
I don't really know if there's something wrong with anything. My connection hasn't broken down at all. The superstitious side in me believes there's something wrong. I don't know how to react to these things, but I would like to have an experts view about the situation. Sorry if there's another thread with info about my situation. Search didn't get me anywhere.
