Title: model HD-QL4TSU2R5 keeps loosing sata connection, usb is fine, please read further

I recently went to a solid state drive for my operating system hard drive. About a month after that I started loosing my buffalo 4Tb hd. It would say it needed formating. I just use it as a spanning drive. I have checked out all things invoved like the port and the cable. I have no issues with the other hard drives sata or usb.    It will work fine on usb but I want the speed sata gives me.     Has anyone here experienced this issue? I'm not sure its a drive issue. My raid manager runs at start up but I only use the drive as spanning. the raid software is HD-QLSU2/R5 version 2.1.2 which I doubt is causing any troubles.  Windows 7
