Title: Multiple Linkstations - one IP - only one Linkstation accessable via Webaccess
Post by: Faresh on December 05, 2012, 12:22:26 AM

I have a Linkstation with webacess set-up and it works fine. I purchased a second linkstation and installed it and also set-up Webaccess.

Inside the network I can access woth Linkstations fine directly through the network,or also via the Internet-browser/web-access screen.

Both Linkstations have set-up with unique names.

However from outside the network I can only access one Linkstation. When typing the appropriate url (http://buffalonas.com/Linkstation-1, or http://buffalonas.com/Linkstation-2) I get pointed to Linkstation-1.  The two urls gets directed to buffalonas.com but when contacting my network it retrieves the folders of Linkstation-1. This happens with using a web-browser or with WebAccess A (Android device: both Linkstations are seperately defined and listed, but when selecting them {and even explicitely logging-on} it still retrieves only the folders of Linkstation-1).

How can I ensure that both Linkstations can be accessed from outside my network?

Many thanks for any assistance!

do you have both linkstations forwarding to different external ports for web access? My guess is that you have them forwarding to the same external port.
