Title: Unable to get to Web Admin page; unable to update firmware
Post by: bluesjumper on December 04, 2012, 10:42:46 PM
All of a sudden I am unable to get to my usual 10.0.1.7 address for web admin, in reference to Linkstation LS-V2. One thing I observed is that the dynamic IP assigned to my Apple TV is 10.0.1.3, and it's the same IP address for my laptop trying to access the NAS. I am able to get to the web admin via my iPad. So the problem is the IP conflict betwen my laptop and Apple TV? What is my best solution...to assign a static IP to my laptop? Second, I was trying to update my firmware and getting an abort error message 'could not connect on TCP'. Is this likely to be resolved once I fix above problem? Thanks, Vlad

yes, set a static IP address on the NAS within your network range and ensure it is not being used by a different device.

Do you mean static IP on my laptop? I don't have any IP conflict with the NAS.
