Title: Linkstation Duo mediaserver problems
Post by: TVerm on December 04, 2012, 08:08:22 AM

I have a Linkstation Duo (non pro).

Firmware 1.63

A lot of times i can't find the mediaserver on my devices (iPad, TV etc.)

I reflashed the firmware and resetted (initialize) the nas a few times but the problem excists.

No problems with updating DHCT-IP or other issues.

Btw i rather leave DHCTP off because i don't see the value of it and it gives me an extra menu on firmware in Chinese characters and the nas seems to work fine without it.

Does anyone here have a solution?

Thx

I don't know

What i do know is that on my dlna or upnp devices the linkstation is the only mediaserver that disapears randomly.

When i restart the linkstation the server is visible again, so it seems to be an issue with the linkstation

I forwarded port 80 on my router.

It could be a twonky issue but i don't know how to webacces it i don't know the syntax or port (9050?)
