Title: Cloudstor Hangs
Post by: richtl on December 03, 2012, 04:20:58 PM

I'm using a Cloudstor CS-WV on build 2.35 of the firmware, and getting pretty frustrated with it. Frequently, when I try to copy a large file (>1.4 Mb or so) or a larger directory the cloudstor hangs for 4-5 minutes during the copy and the copy fails. The happens both I use the device mounted as a local filesystem and when I use the web interface. Another problem, which I believe to be related, is that automatic backup to my attached USB storage device generally fails with a rather generic message "An error occurred during the last backup."

I invested some money in this little beastie and I'd rather not have to throw it away. Suggestions?

first 2.35 is the version of the nas navigator, not the firmware, secondly, reset the Cloudstor via the local admin page and see if that helps in anyways.
