Title: Default Share not accessible
Post by: carlvol on December 02, 2012, 07:52:28 PM

I have a LS-W1.0TGL/R1 and am retrying this process to get it working again before I write off all Linkstation products.

I have lost the ability to access the default share on the linkstation. I can see it using NAS Navigator2 and open the window to browse shares. What I open the 'info' share I can browse different languages, etc. However, when I attempt to access the shared folder names 'share' or the one named 'lost+found' I receive the following error:

Windows cannot access \\LS-WTGLE4E\share

Check the spelling of the name. Otherwise, there might be a problem with your network. To try to identify and resolve network problems, click Diagnose.

There is no problem with my network. I can access the web admin console fine and view and share files on other PCs on my network. According to NASNavi2 i am using firmware version 3.10 on the Linkstation.

I get this same error no matter what PC I attempt to access the unit from. Any suggestions?>
