Title: Emergency Mode - Does hard drive spin up? Linstation EZ

Is the hard drive supposed to spin up when I place my new drive in the linkstation while the linkstation is in EM mode? My drive and other drives I put in don't power on. Sata drives.

 

I am getting a ACP_State_Failure when I try to update the firemare. I have tried all that was noted in these posts. Debug trick, you name it, drive is not recognized. When I Telnet to the unit, I can mount a USB drive, but that is about it.

 

Any help here?

Did you ever resolve this?

 

This is similar to my problem I have a LS-WXL.
