Title: LS-X3.0TL wont boot after scandisk / firmware update
Post by: Methusalem on November 18, 2012, 09:09:21 AM

Greetings!

Ive got a problem with my fairly new (1 week) linkstation.

5 days ago i started a scandisk via web interface. I read afterwards that this will take some time.

After 2 days i recognised a steadly flashing blue light. The linkstation still wasnt accessible.

So i consulted the web and the standard suggestion is: flash a new firmware.

So I did a firmware update to 1.63 an after this it wont boot properly any more.

In the last days I tried many things suggested in web. Almost every variation of debug options while flashing and so on...

Maybe anyone here has a hint for me.

Model: LS-X3.0TL-EU

Firmware: 1.63 (flashfile from buffalo-site)

Symptoms: blue light flashing rapidly (no error code signal/sequence). Linkstation isnt accessible.

I can put it in EM and use LSUPDATER (even with debug options). But the result is always the same.

Should i try a firmware downgrade? Where can i get an older version for my device?

Thanks for your hints!

Methusalem
