Title: LSWXL - Storage not available, raid not configured after a restore / erase
Post by: mrpifpaf on November 09, 2012, 11:21:54 AM

Hello

Since a restore / erase yesterday I have the following symptoms on my Linkstation LSWXL :

- No flashing LED on the front panel.

- The storage is set to Not available on the left panel of the web admin.

- In the System / Storage menu,  in the raid section, the Rarray 1 is set to Not configured. And there's no link to configure it.

So I cannot configure the raid and select the disks.

My firmware is 1.63.

Thank you for your help.

Did you select the HDDs to create a raid array? Take a look at this link see if it helps,

The problem is that I can see the Array 1 line in [System]-[Storage]-[RAID Array], but this line is not clickable (the "link" is greyed).

Ok, first, Clear the cache of ie, or whichever internet browser you are using and try again.

If doesn`t work , I am guessing you do not have any Data on the unit follow the force Firmware update from FAQ(2of5)( You may need to select all availble option on Debug menu if you get errors whilst installing FW

It works after a forced update, with debug mode (I checked all options).

Thank you, Realborat, for this helpul tip, It works fine now. I can configure my raid 1.
