If anyone is having an issue with your client TV seeing media files, or playing media files from your linkstation, and is on firmware 1.60 or higher, please send your product part number, MAC address (12 digits), serial number (14 digits), manufacturer/model/firmware version of TV, and country of TV purchase, to drmemory@buffalotech.com

I have a Buffalo LinkStation LS-XLB1F

This can I mp4 movies created with my "HTC one x plus" now playing but sound is not there. Also other homemade movies do not work correctly.

Firmware: 1.63

We can set up a different codec?

Plays everything, but disconnect DLNA after 10 to 15 minutes, power off/on required to play the next few minutes.

Tested with various DLNA compatible devices, the problem remains.

It is the fourth LS-XL with the same problem.
Also tested with different routers.
It is an insoluble problem, probably going to the hard drive in sleep mode and then would not start by itself.

Have you tried firmware 1.64?
