Title: How to Stop a running backup job on a LS-Q4.0TL/R5
Post by: sing_sing on November 05, 2012, 12:09:58 PM

Hello-

I am new to the Buffalo devices and in search of help or be pointed to the right direction.

Looking over the user manual and reading through earlier posts relating to stopping or canceling a running backup job I didnt find anything really relating to my device or situation.

- Im running a job that has taken longer than 12 hours (13 hours) and is still running.

- Im backuping up the data from one terra station to another, no compression.

- Today I also have a notification that there is a firmware update available that may increase backup speed.

- How does one go about stopping the running backup job?

- Is there a cancel or a stop feature im not seeing in the web console?

- Will deleting the job and rebooting the LS-Q4.0TL/R5 stop the job without corrupting source directory data?

Any help/ guidance will be greatly appreciated.

Cheers!!
