Title: LS-Q6.0TL/R5 E06 Error, no TFTP works
Post by: airlineone on October 30, 2012, 03:20:43 AM

after a few days i must now post here and ask for help.

i tried a few tftp versions from ftp://24.153.165.234/array1/share/nas-recovery/

(cant find there the right one for my LS-Q6.0TL/R5 :-(

i start the box. the harddrives start 1 to 4 then the blue blinking turns into a red blinking (E06)

i have no sucess with tftp. the ip adress from my pc is set on 192.168.11.1 subnet 255.255.255.0.

i also tried it via router and direct attached to the pc... no sucess.

have anyone here solved this problem with this model ? maybe i just have the wrong tftp.. i dont know :-(

please help.

thx

alex

Use this image and follow FAQ 3 of 5 in the storage section correctly and it should work.

ftp://24.153.165.234/array1/share/nas-recovery/TFTP%20Boot%20Recovery%20LS-QTL%201.04.exe

hmm one more (maybe user failure again lol) error is now. i try to run the fw update and got the message that the updater can´t confirm that there is a partition on the ls and he must format. i agree... then format failure (acp...) i found a lot of stuff here but no solution for my case :-(

you would need to use acp commander (google it!) to clear the ACP STAT FAILURE error message and then rebuild the partition table using the firmware update in its debug state.

no more hints for me ? i run the nas now but i cant switch it off. if i do, i must change pc ip, do the tftp boot and then the nas is up an running.

but this is a workaround and no clean solution...
