Title: LinkStation Live LS-X3.0TL Mac Full Screen Video Playback....
Post by: kd4cht on October 26, 2012, 09:24:10 PM

I just purchased a 3.0 TB LinkStation Live (LS-X3.0TL).  I am using it with an iMac running OS X 10.8.2.  I just noticed that when I play video in iTunes or DVD Player in Full Screen Mode the video will exit to the app that is playing from.  The audio is still playing.  I contacted Buffalo before I bought this NAS, and they said that the latest release of NasNavigator2 would run fine on OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion.  I get two dock icons every once in a while for the app,  one will disapear but later will reapear.  I was wondering if anybody is having this problem too? I was not seeing this video problem before installing the NAS & NasNavigator2.

Easiest way to see if it is Nasnavigator causing the issue is ; uninstall it. And see if the issue remains.

I uninstalled NasNavigator2 and the problem went away.  I played a DVD in DVD Player.app and it played in Full Screen Mode without dropping back to the desktop.  I reinstalled NasNavigator2 and the problem came back.  So it is a problem with the current version NasNavigator2.
