Title: LiveStation Live HS-DH500GL mount as PC server ?!?
Post by: Djacks on February 01, 2009, 12:29:48 PM

Hello,

New to this forum and to NAS, I wonder if LiveStation mounting as PC server is normal on Mac.

Here is some informations :

- Mac leopard as OS

- HS-DH500GL behind router (DHCP) with 2.10 firmware recently installed

(Wifire network)

When connected as smb://X.X.X.X the livestation is seen as "normal" server not PC server

Our servers run SAMBA, so your mac will see it as such.  Since we use a XFS file system, SAMBA is needed to convert the files so your Mac can see it.
