Title: LinkStation Live set up problems - help please!
Post by: Tom-Spence on October 21, 2012, 03:18:37 PM

I got a Buffalo LinkStation Live last year, but only just getting round to setting it up.

I have been going through the installer on the CD and even though it appears to recognise the Linkstation on the network, it then comes up and displays "Setup cannot be completed".

I have no idea why this might be the case as I have disabled my firewall.

It would be greatly appreciated if anyone has any ideas why this might be happening... in simple terms if possible...

Thanks so much

Tom

It would help quite alot if you could provide a model number/Firmware version. However,Just Make sure that you have both firewall and Antivirus is disabled, also you can download NasNavigator software from Buffalo website which will make set up easier for you.

The model is an LS-CH1.0TL-V2

I have downloaded NasNavigator now and it appears to recognise but when selected it says it cannot be detected. I have a screen shot which might help if you have an email address I can send it to?

I get the impression I am trying to set it up all wrong. Apologies if I am, I am niot the most technically gifted person!

Thanks
