Title: Terastation Backup "this is a NAS-API Error"
Post by: sonsenfrancais on October 10, 2012, 08:02:12 AM

I want to back up one of the 2 Gbyte drives on a TS5400D562  to an external 2 Gbyte USB connected to the same Terastation

The source drive is 80% full.  The destination is empty and visible on the network

In Shared folder stteings usbdisk1 is shown as enabled for Backup

I create a New Backup Job, Schedule: Immediately, Mode:Normal

I click on Add, and browse/choose the source folder name and then browse for the destination which shows as TS5400D562@usbdisk1  ... there is no option to choose a folder

When I click on OK I get "This is an NAS-API internal error"

I've tried restarting the Terastation - no joy.  Firmware is up to date with the new version which we were advised to apply immediately

Can anyone advise please ?   Thanks
