Title: Time taken for a factory reset on a brand new LS-QVL
Post by: danfischer on October 08, 2012, 10:24:42 PM

I've been having problems setting up my brand new LS-QVL (Linkstation Quad) so I decided to do a factory reset.

It did something and lights flashed for about 5 minutes and then turned off, and has yet to restart. The web interface said it would restart automatically.

I'm unable to turn it on using the power button.

Is this normal? How long do factory resets take?

I'm absolutely sure I did not chose the erase option.

I have 2 1TB Western Digital drives and the firmware version was whatever it shipped with.
