Title: How does Cloudstor work when sharing?
Post by: cottagefarmer on October 05, 2012, 04:54:57 PM

Hi, I'm in I.T and want to know the behind the scenes behavior of cloudstor.  When I share a file and require someone to sign in to get it they have to establish an account in Cloudstor.  My question is:  Is this interaction going on just between the new user and MY Cloudstor server or is the account establishment happening either at Pogoplug or Buffalo?

Thank you,

Patrick

Additionally whene transferring data you DO NOT have a direct point-to-point connection! All traffic is tunneled through Pogoplug servers (Except both devices are in same LAN and you are not using SSL connection).
