Title: I gave up with my Buffalo - It doesn't work.
Post by: Bubble on October 05, 2012, 05:54:53 AM

3 weeks ago I bought a Buffalo Cloud Station and now following 3 weeks of struggling I've given up with it.

I was on the phone to Bufffalo for over three hours yesterday and now the device is even worse than before I called.

I was advised by Buffalo to call Netgear and following an hour of trying to contact them this morning they refused to help me. I had no help from this forum.

To anybody who might be tempted by the strap line on the Buffalo box "Easy / User friendly / Fun " I'd say think carefully first. In my experience it's none of these.

To me this device represents a month of my pension money down the drain and considerable depression over the whole episode. I was literally driven to tears yesterday such was my frustration.

Can't offer any help, I'm afraid - I have issues with my link station - just wanted to send a virtual hug or somethingthrall feel for you and angry that buffalo have done nothing to help. Can you return it for a refund? Where did you buy it from?

Are you getting any particular errors? What is the situation?

Hey I had a few issues first too, but it was mostly not good documentation.  Did you get it set up ok initially?  One thing I ran into was that at first I didn't realize the "Pogoplug Cloud" was actually a third party off site storage that had NOTHING to do with my Buffalo.  You have to actually share out your drive to see it from the web.   So, just curious what you can tell us.
