hy,
thanks for the answere, but i have just search on the forum and all says to forward the port using freedns for who hasn't static ip. But all the post finish with no solution, and the people cannot use the bittorrent client on internet.
So I asked to all of you if now there is a way to do that or not?, Someone controll bittorrent out of home?
Thanks
Paolo
Yes there is, as you say you need to forward whatever port you want to access the BT client from remotely to port 9090 locally to the IP address of the Linkstation.
Then access it by opening a brower and typing: http://WAN-IP-Address:portnumber/gui/
ie: in my case: http://davo.xxxxx.org:9093
Look here for the port forwarding rule i created on my router.

Hy,
I have made all what you sayed:
register in a dinamic DNS on the web,
install a client to send my updated ip on the DNS on the web,
on my router i have forwarded the outside port 9090 on the internal port 9090 to the link 192.168.1.109 (Linkstation):
| Nome server | Porta esterna iniziale | Porta esterna finale | Protocollo | Porta interna iniziale | Porta interna finale | Indirizzo IP server | IP remoto | Rimuovi/ Modifica |
| LS-BT-GUI | 9090 | 9090 | TCP/UDP | 9090 | 9090 | 192.168.1.109 |
I have write in the bittorrent option:
Hearing port 9090
but wen i go to the web and i write my address:
myname.name of web DNS.com
i go only to the webpage of my router.
I have prove to write:
myname.name of web DNS.com:9090
or
myname.name of web DNS.com:9090/gui
but report me the error:
"La connessione è stata annullata

I have prove with and without firewall (windows xp firewall)
but is the same,
Please help me
