Title: cannot access my 3tb (NTFS) anymore after inserting into LS-WVL/E
Post by: williamyap on October 03, 2012, 01:16:22 AM

Hi everyone, I got a problem in accessing my 3tb hardisk after inserting into the second  bay of linkstation pro duo LS-WVL/E.

my NAS got 2 bays. Before inserting the 3tb d into my NAS, the first bay already loaded with another hd, which was running fine.

My problem started here. I unpluged one hd (3tb, NTFS) from my computer and inserted it into the vacant bay of my nas. After I switch one my nas , a red light on the front panel blinked continuously . Then I removed the 3tb hd and connect it back to my computer through a sata wire, but my computer cannot recognize my 3tb hd anymore.

Obviously, I have done something stupid......

I cannot access the data in my 3tb hd Can anyone help me ?

the Linkstation cannot accomodate a NTFS HDD, only XFS, it might of format the HDD.

Check to see if it is appearing in Disk Management in Windows once you have reconnected it to the PC.
