What model and firmware are you using, also you will need to describe your network topology.

are you transfering from a PC or laptop, wired or wireless, 100Mb/s or gigabit, wireless G or N?

Have you tested the transfer rates on a direct connection to see what speeds you are getting? You would need to set a static IP on the LAN card of your PC to match the IP address range the Linkstation is on to do this.

I have tried to transfer the file through direct connection between the NAS and the PC , the Transfer speed is 10.2 MB/second . Is that mean that there is a problem with my network router ?

Yes, the connection is bootlenecked somewhere, if it was the Linkstation then you would get the same issue on the direct connection.

start by resetting it anyways there are no specific settings. Defaults should work.

Any standard gigabit router should do.
