Title: Unable to Update Firmware on LS-CH1.0TL-V2

LS-CHL23D LS-CH1.0TL-V2 Firmware Version 1.56

 

I am attempting to update or Force Update the firmware to correct problems in my LinkStation

 

Buffalo Admin Screen shows my current firmware as Version 1.56

Admin Screen Check For Updates indicates current version already installed

I have downloaded firmware version 1.62 and have set it up for Forced Firmware

When I used the Updater that came with the download the Updater reports that "LinkStation that needs updating not found."

 

I configured my network so as to have the LS-CH1.0TL-V2 and the command PC (XP) plugged directly into the router with the Windows Firewall turned off. The Updater still reports that "LinkStation that needs updating not found."

 

Any ideas (such as a TFTP flash or something like that?)

1.62 is not for your linkstation as far as I'm aware.
