Hello,
We would like to request tech support to configure backup between 2 Off Subnet TeraStation TS-RX12TL, We have been dealing with this case for several days not been able to solve it.

Problem: Source cannot find target NAS ( view NAS devices) if target IP entered manually does not work either.

Scenario:

TeraStations connected using MPLS, Source IP: 172.31.252.48 Target IP: 172.30.252.180

IP address setting on target:

Ethernet1;
DHCP: Disabled
Primary IP Address: 172.30.252.180
Subnet mask 255.255.0.0

Ethernet2 Enable, DHCP Enable

gateway:172.30.252.4
primary DNS:172.31.252.28
secondary DNS:127.0.0.1

The ISP (Claro,Comcel) confirms not blocking any PORT when running telnet commands results are as follow:

From Target when using view NAS devices source it is found 172.31.252.48 but when trying to run a BACK job it hangs and end as ERROR

On the same LAN/network segment was working.

  I fixed:  disabled the Ethernet 2 on the source TeraStation to avoid a "loop"  and confirmed carefully the Default Gateway on both sides source-target .
