Hey yinz,

I have an Linkstation HS-DH250GL that i just updated the firmware on.  I run Mac OS 10.6.8 and had to update the firmware on my roommate's PC, running XP.  I am now unable to access my folders on either OS.  The only folders that show are Share and Info.  The Linkstation displays that the drive has data on it...i just can't figure out how to access it.  Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, I can open the "share" folder.  Only, before the firmware upgrade, It was capitalized as "Share."  I had another folder titled "MUSIC" which is missing when i fire up NAS Navigator.   This is on both my roommate's PC and my Mac.  Navigator displays that there is still data on the drive.

I can get into the web GUI but still can't access the "hidden" MUSIC folder.  Anyway to access this data thru FTP?

This was known to occur sometimes after an FW update on the old Linkstation Live.

Simply recreate the shared folders via the web admin page using the same name and settings as you had before and it should allow you access to the data again.

Well I created a new folder...labeled "MUSIC" and when I connected to it...it was empty.  Is there something else i'm missing in the folder creation process?  What settings do i need to remember?  I also noticed that my user name and password are no longer recognized...in fact, unlike before the update, i can connect to any folder without login.  I also noticed in the web GUI that the disk file format is now XFS...i don't remember that being the case previously.
