Title: tor-socks service running on my quad
Post by: szimbler on September 14, 2012, 10:51:30 AM

I have a 4GB Linkstation quad running firmware 1.11. When running Fing on my network I discovered there's a service called tor-socks running on 9050 on my Quad. What is it?

Anyone? Either this is something really simple (like the torrent service, though I have no idea why this should be open as I'm not using it) or something really scary like a Tor service, and I have no idea why that should be on my Quad or how it ever got there, or how I shut it down!
