Title: UPDATING FIRMWARE OF LINKSTATION DUO FROM 1.34 to 1.6
Post by: alloca on September 13, 2012, 11:10:27 AM

Hi to everyone,

I've a LinkStation DUO 2TB LS-WX4.0TL/R1EU Default name LS-WXL909 Firmware version (as reported in System Information WEB Administration Menu) 1.34 DTCP:1.6-20120615. It's configured RAID 1 with about 30% of file inside.

Because DLNA service appear to fail when deliver JPG file greater than 4Mb (i.e. only the file name and its icon appear in DLNA client) i would want to upgrade firmware to 1.6 (posted 5-7-2012).

Can I proceed without having any problems with actual configuration and the data stored in ?

Thanks with your answers

Alessio

updating does not effect any data or the configuration however make sure you have a backup of any important data at all times, RAID is not a backup.
