Title: Can access remotely but cannot get below first level of directories
Post by: Maddos on August 30, 2012, 04:00:44 AM

I have two Buffalo NAS boxed.  Linkstation Live  LS-XL works perfectly.

Bought a dual drive LS-WVL/E Pro Duo and fitted it out with 2x3TB hard drives in a raid array. It works in all except one respect. (i.e. time machine works, can copy, read, write, access it is a media server etc etc etc.)

The problem is with remote access.  I can access it remotely and connect etc.  BUT when I click on any of my directories, I cannot see any of their contents. (note this all works perfectly on the Linkstation Live box)

I have checked every setting on the admin and cannot find anything to effect it. Using the Linkstation Live's settings as a guide, I have confirmed all is in order so far as I can tell on the Pro Duo.

Any ideas? This seems really weird.

(Oh, and I am using the latest 1.60 firmware too).

Any help greatly appreciated.
