Title: MiniStation not recognized by computer

MiniStation TurboUSB Portable Hard Drive HD-PF250U2 will not install on XP sp3 computer, however, it install instantly on my Vista computer.  I turned off Windows Firewall yet still no install.  Any ideas would be appreciated.

Is the drive recognized at all on the XP machine?

 

Try different USB ports, and try using the aux power connector that came with it.
