My laptop does not read the external Hard Disk purchased online,even though it recogizes the disk plugged to the computer in the toolbar. When I try to open the disk via "my computer" o using the Memeo software it does not exist. I have tried various ways of fixing it but nothing works. I already installed the hard disk in other computers and I get the same error.
With the purchase i neve received a software installation disk. Is this necessary??
What could be the solution for this inconvenient??
Try to right click on the my computer then choose manage. Please select storage then disk manager.
You should see the drive in here. You can right click on it and choose format. Once the drive is formatted it will appear in My Computer.
