Title: Red Light Flashing With errors after firmware upgrade
Post by: jbroderick82 on June 07, 2012, 01:04:10 PM
Hi guys, I upgraded my LS-CHL-594 firmware to 1.58 from i think it was 1.28, which went successfully.

But when it came around to booting for the first time the blue light comes on at first but then red light comes on, pauses then 3 falshes 1 sec apart continuously. I also got sent an automatic alert

"DISK Error Notification

Disk(s) the error occurred:"Disk 1", An error occurred in the 1th hard disk.

Replace 1th hard drive."

I can still access the network drive through windows and also I can access the web interface.

How can I fix this problem?

Hi,

Unfortunately this is not a solution that I bring you.
I have a similar issue with this upgrade :
DISK Error Notification

HDD error occurred
Disk(s) the error occurred:"Disk 2"

Is it possible to downgrade firmware ?

FFS might help if we knew what NAS you had!?! Obviously its an error on HDD2!
