Title: TeraStation Pro II not reading anything on USB ports
Post by: ALIMS on January 25, 2009, 03:00:09 AM

We have a Buffalo TeraStation Pro II 4TB external hard drive connected to a 4 port switch. We can connect to the terastation through the switch, but everything that's USB that we plug into the back of the external case, we cannot access and it doesn't show up anywhere. For example if we plug in a thumb drive, it never shows up anywhere. We need help or suggestions in order to get this working. Thank you.

On that model those usb ports are strictly for USB hard drives, you would have a hard time getting it to recognize a flash drive.

We forgot our admin password.  Is there anyway to set the station back to default settings?
