Title: Sync function not an option

I am running a HS-DH1.0TGL/R5 station w/ firmware 2.14. In January I conencted a new desktop computer to the HS without any problems. I am now trying to also connect a new laptop to the DS. Both machines are running Windows 7. I installed the NAS navigator on the laptop and can see the DS and all the files without any issues.

 

The problem is, the "sync" and "always available offline" features are missing from the laptop but present on the desktop. I can't seem to find any settings that are different betwen the two that would restrict the laptop. I would like to have some files available offline so I can work on them when away from the office. Suggestions?

the windows edition (i.e. professional) is important, this offline capability is not available on all editions
