Title: Switching on when auto powered off
Post by: OneEyedGnome on January 24, 2009, 02:43:58 AM
Hi, Stupid question, I have my linkstation live (LS-CH1.0TL) on an auto timed shut down, wake up cycle (switched off at night, and during the day, on for when I get home from work) . How do I get it to switch on while it's sleeping?

OneEyedGnome,

To my understanding the only way to wake the device while it's in it's shutdown state is to move the power switch to on.  Unfortunately, it doesn't look like a wake on LAN function is in the works thus far.

When mine has gone to sleep I wake it up by switching it to the off position for 10 seconds and then back to on. It then takes up to 30 seconds before anything lights up, it then wakes up and stays awake until the next sleep time.
